Last week the NSW Minister for Regional Development, Skills and Small Business, the Hon John Barilaro MP, announced funding for the Dantia Smart Hub (DaSH) through an Innovation Grant to the University of Newcastle.
Dantia CEO, Kristen Keegan, said she is pleased DaSH was included in the announcement, as the funding will allow the facility to work with the University of Newcastle to introduce additional programming that will help to drive start-ups in Lake Macquarie City.
“Dantia will be collaborating with the University of Newcastle to develop a range of initiatives and improvements including an entrepreneurial program catered towards a range of businesses,” Kristen said.
“DaSH is leading the way in regards to co-working spaces and inventive programs in the Hunter Region, and this program will help us to provide opportunities for these entrepreneurs to grow their existing products and services.”

DaSH, located at Charlestown, provides a flexible co-working space for entrepreneurs and businesses to collaborate with like-minded business minds in a flexible setting.
