Nigel Donovan launches online leadership program

Nigel Donovan, personal leadership executive coach, is launching his first webinar-based coaching program for leaders and senior managers.  The ‘Be More’ Leadership program will guide managers from anxiety to calm – building their capacity to thrive in a world of change and stress.

Nigel says that as an experienced executive-level coach and conference speaker he has a unique and proven approach to enabling leaders to be more flexible, open, and better communicators and problem solvers.

“When we experience periods of being tired, busy or stressed, our automatic biological response is to become more defensive and closed. This can then start to infect a business unit or a whole organisation,” Nigel said.

“Whether that is brought on by volatile business conditions, relentless demands to do more with less, major changes in government policy, or even a promotion to a more challenging role, the resulting behaviours can be very expensive. Under pressure people tend to put their heads down and try to tough it out; they micromanage, and their problem solving skills become compromised so they miss new ideas and opportunities. They can also become harder to work alongside, creating bottlenecks for workflow and communication.”

Nigel normally coaches one to one but to share his unique methodology with a wider audience, he has created this first webinar series. His approach is heavily grounded in science and focuses on the person and their way of being.

“It’s like an 8-week program for mental fitness!” Nigel added.

His proven approach and expertise and playful, light hearted manner are a powerful combination. People will grow to become more pragmatic, to problem solve, to work more productively with others and to communicate more effectively.

The program will launch on 20 October 2016.
