Celebrating their first anniversary, Newcastle-based insolvency and advisory firm Rapsey Griffiths continues its rapid expansion beyond the Hunter region, with new appointments and new locations across the state.

Founders Mitch Griffiths and Chad Rapsey believe the growth of their firm has been as a result of their clear focus on the ‘solve’ in insolvency.

“It’s not just a motto. For us, it’s what we’re about,” explains Mr Griffiths. “When helping people through corporate or personal insolvency situations, there’s a lot going on for them. Our role is to develop a clear plan that will resolve the situation, and then help make that plan happen.”

The firm’s momentum is building, with Rapsey Griffiths now a team of seven, servicing not only the greater Hunter region and Central Coast, but also Tamworth, Armidale, Lismore and other regional state locations.

The team continues to expand to support the growth, with Craig Newell recently appointed as Manager to ensure client needs are met promptly and efficiently.

Mr Rapsey said the creation of the role was to ensure an ongoing high level of customer service and to allow for further growth in the future.

“It was a fantastic coup to be able to lure Craig from a mid-tier accounting firm in Sydney,” Chad said. “He is CA and IPA qualified and has over 10 years insolvency experience.”

“It’s a win/win situation as Craig was able to relocate back to the Hunter with his young family an we were able to employ the right person for this role.”
