Safety, the Austube Mills way

Safety, the Austube Mills way

Austube Mills are committed to a safe workplace, recently launching their new Codes of Practice safety campaign for 2015.

The safety campaign focuses on safe practices, both on and off the site, to strengthen their commitment to the safety of their people, their products and ultimately, their customers.

To communicate the benefits of the Codes of Practice campaign, Austube Mills has also released a new safety video featuring employees from Newcastle and their families, as well as a poster series.

“The main character ‘Zero’, very much animated and alive, represents our business’ subconscious commitment to safety ‚Äì both on and off our sites our people are striving for interdependent safety behaviours,” Austube Mills General Manager, Richard Clement, said.

“The campaign aims to shift the focus from being safe because we ‘have to’, to being safe because we want to,” Richard continued. “Zero supports the strong strategic direction and drive for Austube Mills to achieve world-class safety in everything we do.”
