High profile speaker and networking organisation, Newcastle Business Club has announced its 2019 committee members at its final luncheon event of the year, adding three new names to an already deep and diverse list of local business leaders.
2018 Senior Vice President and Founder and Owner of Hunter Signs, Craig Wellings was appointed as President of Newcastle Business Club in its 86th year.
Craig said 2018 was a fantastic year for the club and he looks forward to another year of success for its members.
“I’ve owned and operated my own local business for more than 11 years and in that time, I’ve really come to know the value that Newcastle Business Club provides to its members and to the local community,” Craig said.
“I am proud to be able to continue the legacy of high-profile speakers, quality networking, insightful topics and the nature of bringing people together that this club offers. I believe the business acumen, high-calibre expertise and experience on offer through the committee this year will further strengthen what is already Hunter’s premier guest speaker forum.”
Joining Craig on the executive committee is

- Stephanie Jordan of Dalton Partners Real Estate as Junior Vice President
- Immediate Past President and owner of The Marketing GP, Holly Martin as Sergeant-at-Arms

- Alyssa Gill of Belle Property Charlestown, Hunter Valley and Cessnock.

“Our committee members share a love for business in the Hunter region and to contributing to the vitality of our members and region. We already have some great ideas in place for our popular luncheons in the coming 12 months,” Craig said.
Newcastle Business Club was established in 1933, from humble beginnings when five managers decided to get together on a weekly basis and discuss topics of importance to businesses in the region.

Since 1933 people from the Newcastle and Hunter business community have met for a luncheon to hear from speakers who present their views, opinions and directions in business and the wider community.
Newcastle Business Club guest speakers have included high profile community members, management experts, business people, politicians and people from the areas of sport, arts and entertainment.
