With sixteen years of wealth advisory under his belt, Lachlan Ashelford has joined the growing Lambourne Partners Wealth team.
After working and gaining experience for global asset managers, wealth advice firms and broking houses in both Australia and the UK, Lachlan now brings his expertise to the team at Lambourne Partners.
In addition to his experience abroad, Lachlan’s local knowledge is also impressive, having spent eight years working as a Wealth Advisor in Newcastle.
Highlights of Lachlan’s career to-date include working internationally, which he recalls as being a very exciting experience.
“I always wanted to work in the UK and I was lucky enough to do this during the Global Financial Crisis (GFC) around 2007-2010. This time working in the finance industry was extremely challenging and very exciting at the same time,” Lachlan recalls.
“I’m looking forward to getting stuck into building the wealth advisory side of the business, as well as mentoring new entrants in the industry.”
Lambourne Partners Wealth Director, Kurt Purkiss, described Lachlan’s appointment as an asset when it comes to wealth creation and wealth protection strategies.
“In recent years we have been on a true growth trajectory. Lachlan’s deep knowledge of the industry and international experience will be of tangible benefit to new and existing clients,” Kurt said.
Lachlan’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce, Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance, Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning, Master of Applied Finance, Member of Financial Planning Association of Australia and Associate Member of CPA Australia.
Lachlan provides clients with holistic financial advice and specialises in retirement planning, asset protection and defined benefit superannuation advice.
