After 33 years trading from 500 Hunter Street, Snap Newcastle has made a move to new premises in Newcastle West.
Owner of Snap Newcastle, Frances Watt said the inspiration for the move after 30 years in business was to provide more convenience for clients.
“We’ve been looking for the right location for a long time and 822 Hunter Street is right in the middle of the emerging Newcastle CBD,” Frances said.
“The Hunter Street facade is strikingly modern and the open plan fit-out was designed to display the onsite print and graphic design capabilities of the business.
“The goal was to create an industrial inspired, creative environment and the sharp angles, expressed steel and brick work, and polished concrete floor work together to achieve this.”
To coincide with the move to the new centre, Snap has updated its equipment and included a state-of-art Konica Minolta Accurio Press in its new premises.
“This is our third Konica Press and delivers a new level of productivity to the business allowing even tighter client deadlines,” Frances said.
It’s also the first of its kind in Newcastle.
“Snap has always been known as the quick turnaround print experts, but over the last decade the business has grown to meet demand for creative branding, e-marketing and custom website design,” Frances said.
While Snap Newcastle is amongst 50 franchises across Australia, its focus is local.
“We offer the superior service you can only get from a local business,” Frances said.
“Our team is small, but we have the knowledge and experience required to help our clients build a successful brand in today’s highly competitive marketplace.”
The centre is still a work in progress, but it’s the most significant change Snap Newcastle has made since owners Andrew Watt and Frances bought the business 12 years ago.
“We’ve had a lot of positive feedback already, and we’re really excited about our future in Newcastle West,” Frances said.
